Winter Parking Ban
(Chapter 17, Sec. 17-91 of Falmouth Town Ordinances)
No vehicle shall be parked at any time on any street, way or road so as to interfere with or hinder the plowing or removal of snow from any street, way or road. The Chief of Police may cause any vehicle parked on any street, way or road so as to interfere with or hinder the plowing or removal of snow to be removed from the street in accordance with the provisions of section 17-82 (Authority to remove vehicle while illegally parked).
No vehicle shall be parked on any town-maintained way or road between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. from November 15th to April 15th. (Code 1966, Ch. 702, s. 6)

Naturalists' Forum: Maine's Rivers and Relics at Gilsland Farm, Falmouth Maine
Naturalists' Forum: Maine's Rivers and Relics
Landis Hudson of Maine Rivers will be here to host a screening of the film Maine’s Rivers and Relics, which documents communities’ efforts to remove outdated dams and restore New England's rivers and their fisheries. The film will be followed by a discussion of on-going river restoration projects in our state.

Falmouth Maine Town Council Site Walk 11/07/2010
The Town Council will hold site walks on Sunday, November 7, 2010 of Lowell Farm and the Hadlock Community Forest. The site walk will commence at 1:00 pm at the Highland Lake Boat Launch parking area on Lowell Farm Rd. It will then reconvene at a dirt path leading into Hadlock Forest, which is located approximately 100 yards from the end of Hadlock Rd. Birdwalk at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth Maine

Happy Veteran's Day! Special Lecture at The Falmouth Library
In honor of our veterans: Stephens Bunker, Civil War historian and veteran of the Vietnam War will speak about Maine's role in the American Civil War and the 1863 battle of Aldie at the Falmouth Memorial Library in Falmouth Maine. This is a LunchBox Friends event. Ongoing events on the 2nd Tuesday of each month @ Noon. You bring a lunch. Friends will supply beverages! See you there :)
