Winter Transportation: From Horse to Horseless

Have you visited Skyline Farm in Yarmouth?

Skyline's new museum exhibit, "Winter Transportation: From Horse to Horseless", is free and open to the public every Sunday, Feb. 12 through March 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. You can view  horse-drawn vehicles - they will be displayed in the museum and driven outdoors.

The $8 admission fee (or $30/family) includes one sleigh ride given by J. L. Gray & Son of Monmouth and his handsome pair of Percheron horses. Visit today!

Good Night Nature

Families of young children with parent or guardian (adults, and infant and toddler siblings up to 2 are welcome at no charge).


This gentle hour based around a bedtime story about animals of the night. Come in your pajamas, but be prepared to venture outdoors in the moonlight. You’ll play, sing, create art and have a snack before you head home to sleep.

The Falmouth Food Pantry has teamed up with Gorham Savings Bank to help fight cancer this month. The Falmouth locations of Gorham Savings Bank and other local businesses will collect food and toiletry donations, so that the Food Bank can help those in need in our community.

Falmouth Memorial Library survey

The Falmouth Memorial Library Board of Trustees invites you to participate in an online survey that will help us to assess the library’s current strengths and weaknesses, and to identify the programs and services that the community believes to be valuable or needed. Public meeting to discuss the Ocean View proposal

The Falmouth Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 7:00 PM to receive public input on the Council's recommendation of the Ocean View proposal for the redevelopment of the Plummer-Motz and Lunt property.
