FREE info session: Are you at risk for diabetes, cancer or depression? Learn about Vitamin D.
7-8pm Monday, May 7, 2012
Here in Maine, your lack of Vitamin D from exposure to overhead sunlight affects your overall health. Vitamin D is a marker for the risk of osteoporosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune diseases, obesity, cancer, and depression. Hear Bethany Hays, MD share how testing Vitamin D levels can help you determine if taking Vitamin D may be beneficial to you and how you can prevent vitamin D overdose. Bring your questions!
SIEZE THE DAY: If you wish to get tested right then and there, we’ll have our Medical Assistant on hand after the session. You’ll receive appropriate forms and pricing information when you register for the info session.
Bethany Hays, MD, FACOG, trained as an Ob/Gyn in Houston Texas and moved to Maine in 1992. After practicing obstetrics for 30 years she transitioned to office practice of women’s health and Functional Medicine and joined a group of creative practitioners who formed True North, Maine’s Center for Functional Medicine and the Healing Arts, and integrative center in Falmouth Maine.
