Foreside Garden Club

The next meeting of the Foreside Garden Club will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:00P.M. at the Falmouth Public Library. We will have a speaker from the Cooperative Extension Service speak to us about invasive plants in Maine. All are welcome to attend this free lecture to learn about what plants work best in our gardens. Refreshments will be served, and a brief business meeting will follow the talk. Anne has been a licensed Broker since 1997. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, her family moved to Maine when she was four years old. Anne attended school at St. Joseph's Academy and graduated from Deering High School in Portland and the University of Maine. The First Annual Falmouth Event - SHOP FALMOUTH

Falmouth's First "Shop Falmouth Weekend" is planned for December 7, 8and 9 beginning with a "Drop and Shop" for children with games andpizza at the Motz School, Mason Gym sponsored by the FalmouthCommunity Programs. Children in grades K-6 will enjoy a pizza party,gym games, arts and crafts and more. Dinner will be provided from5:30 to 6 (pizza). Pre-registration is required. Take thisopportunity to visit Falmouth's wonderful shops and services duringthe holiday season. The 26th Annual Falmouth Community Tree Lightingis scheduled on Wednesday, December 5 from 5:30 to 6:30 at theFalmouth Village Park and will include a visit from Santa. FMI781-5253
