It is important to buy local! One of my favorite local stores in Falmouth is Books Etc. A locally run bookshop. Books Etc is a full-service bookstore, with a nice selection of fiction, music, philosophy, history and more. They specialize in Maine Books: books about Maine, books by Maine authors, guidebooks to Maine, a really great series of town histories, Delorme's Maine Atlas, field guides, cookbooks, etc. Stop by and check them out next time you are looking for a great read.

Anne has been a licensed Broker since 1997. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, her family moved to Maine when she was four years old. The First Annual Falmouth Event - SHOP FALMOUTH

Falmouth's First "Shop Falmouth Weekend" is planned for December 7, 8and 9 beginning with a "Drop and Shop" for children with games andpizza at the Motz School, Mason Gym sponsored by the FalmouthCommunity Programs. Children in grades K-6 will enjoy a pizza party,gym games, arts and crafts and more. Dinner will be provided from5:30 to 6 (pizza). Pre-registration is required. Take thisopportunity to visit Falmouth's wonderful shops and services duringthe holiday season. The 26th Annual Falmouth Community Tree Lightingis scheduled on Wednesday, December 5 from 5:30 to 6:30 at theFalmouth Village Park and will include a visit from Santa. FMI781-5253
