What are your kids doing for April Vacation?

April School Vacation Day Camp at Gilsland Farm!

Kids don’t have to wait for summer to go to camp. During spring school-vacation week, Gilsland Farm Audubon Center in Falmouth engages children in grades 1-5 with group games, creative arts, and nature explorations on a 65-acre sanctuary.

Programs held 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; sign up for individual days or the entire week.

Monday, April 19: Spring Awakenings
Explore the sanctuary for signs of nature stirring in Maine. What’s peeping and peeking out?

Tuesday, April 20: Beaks and Eats
Experiment with different specialized beaks to try and capture food like many of Maine’s birds.

Wednesday, April 21: Mud Dwellers
Discover fascinating animals that make their homes in the spring mud of the pond or forest, and invent your own murky creature.

Thursday, April 22: Earth Day Celebration
Join us as we celebrate with nature games and a nature service project at Gilsland Farm.

Friday, April 23: Slimy and Scaly
See live salamanders and turtles! Explore where they live at Gilsland Farm, and how they migrate in our Big Night obstacle course.

Advance registration necessary. Call (207) 781-2330, ext. 209, or e-mail lduffy@maineaudubon.org or visit:
