FRIENDS OF THE FALMOUTH MEMORIAL LIBRARY

The Friends' Potluck luncheon and Annual Meeting with special guest author, James Hayman will be held on May 11 from Noon to 1:30 at the Falmouth Memorial Library. Bring a dish to share! James' book, "The Cutting", is a stupendous first novel; a mystery thriller that takes place in and around Portland and the Maine Medical Center. You will stay away from the Western Cemetery after reading this book, especially on foggy days! He will be talking about "The Cutting" and his next mystery thriller coming out later this year. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Just a reminder that the month of May is "Bottle Sorting Time" at the Bucknam Road Recycling Station. This is a major fund-raiser for the Friends. Please sign up at the library.

Anne has been a licensed Broker since 1997. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, her family moved to Maine when she was four years old. Anne attended school at St. Joseph's Academy and graduated from Deering High School in Portland and the University of Maine. The First Annual Falmouth Event - SHOP FALMOUTH

Falmouth's First "Shop Falmouth Weekend" is planned for December 7, 8and 9 beginning with a "Drop and Shop" for children with games andpizza at the Motz School, Mason Gym sponsored by the FalmouthCommunity Programs. Children in grades K-6 will enjoy a pizza party,gym games, arts and crafts and more. Dinner will be provided from5:30 to 6 (pizza). Pre-registration is required. Take thisopportunity to visit Falmouth's wonderful shops and services duringthe holiday season. The 26th Annual Falmouth Community Tree Lightingis scheduled on Wednesday, December 5 from 5:30 to 6:30 at theFalmouth Village Park and will include a visit from Santa. FMI781-5253
