We're excited to announce that this year's Dog Walk: Paws for a Cause will be a collaboration with L. L. Bean's Dog Days of August, to take place August 14 in Freeport. All pledge money collected goes to support the animals of the Coastal Humane Society.
Bring your collected pledges to Registration at 9:00 a.m. and be prepared to parade your pooches through downtown Freeport! Join us on this day of veritable puppy pampering as we celebrate dogs with all kinds of fun: a K-9 water park, caricaturists, massages (sorry, they're for the dogs), animal demonstrations, pet psychics.... and of course, our own shelter animals for adoption.
Oh- and the best part? A percentage of L.L. Bean sales will go direcly to CHS animals. Needless to say... it's a great day to get your shop on at L. L. Bean!
