Falmouth- The University of Maine Coopertive Extension announces Fall 2012 food safety training workshops for occasional volunteer quantity cooks.
Learn up-to-date methods for safely preparing, handling and serving food for large groups such as churches, club affiliation fundraisers, granges, PTA, and others. This workshop meets the Good Shepherd Food-Bank Food Safety Training requirements.
Participants will receive: “Cooking for Crowds” – A manual specifically designed for volunteer cooks; certificate of attendance, posters, instant read thermometer.
