learning about bats at Gilsland Farm

GOOD NIGHT NATURE
On Tuesday evening, October 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 join the Maine Audubon Society at Falmouth's Gilsland Farm for a pre-halloween evening learning about bats. This program is designed for children from ages 2 - 7 with parent or guardian. You will make bat wings and fly around Gilsland Farm seeking insects for nourishment and old trees for hiding and hibernation. The moon, or the light of flashlights, will cast shadows for a little creepy Halloween fun. This gentle moonlit hour is based around a bedtime story about animals of the night. Come in your pajamas, but be prepared to venture outdoors. You will play, sing, create art an have a snack before you head home to sleep. Adults and siblings younger than 2 years old are welcome at no charge. FMI Lynn Rutter, 781-2330 ext 208
