FALMOUTH SCHOOL SECURITY

FALMOUTH SCHOOL SECURITY PROCEDURES REVIEWED


The Chief of Police and Superintendent of Schools in Falmouth indicate that all of the Falmouth schools are very safe and they intend to continue student safety. After the shooting in Newtown, school officials met with police and fire officials to review safety procedures and identify area for improvement. The Police Department has also added the school campus to its regular patrol routes. Both individuals stated there are no major safety concerns that need to be overhauled, however reviewing safety procedures in the wake of the Newtown school tragedy is an absolute necessary.
