Falmouth Memorial Library will once again be providing federal tax forms, but due to late legislation,some 2012 forms, instructions and publications are not yet available. So far we have 1040 EZs and a few schedules; others are due in mid-February. Feel free to call for an update, and in the meantime, some forms and booklets can be printed from the IRS website. The library has public computers for viewing forms and information and printing is 15 cents a page.
The Maine Revenue Service no longer provides tax forms to libraries, but you can download forms and booklets at www.maine.gov/revenue/forms. If you would like a booklet mailed to you, you can use the online order form, or call the forms at 207-624-7894 and leave your name and mailing address.
